The countdown has begun for the 9th edition of the five-day Middle East International Motor Show (MEIMS) in Dubai, which will take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) from 13 to 18 November 2007.
GM has eight major product launches slated for 2008 across its brands. Visitors and car enthusiasts will be able to see most of these new or refreshed cars as they are unveiled during their first public debut in Dubai.
All these cars at the forthcoming MEIMS undoubtedly reflect the continuous product offensive by GM and also demonstrate just how diverse the company really is.
Displays of GM brands for the region include Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, HUMMER and Saab. All these cars will be presented at the sprawling 48x61sq-m display in the new Zabeel Hall.
General Motors Middle East is a major player in the regional automotive sector and has enjoyed tremendous growth and success in the last four years. The company's sales have almost trebled since 2003 and this success has been attributed to the complete transformation of the product line-up, satisfying the breadth and depth of consumer demands and after-sales satisfaction.
GM has been tantalizing auto enthusiasts in the region with exciting new concepts plus a fresh line-up of cars and SUVs ranging from small crossovers to large truck-based models. GM also has the distinction of competing in all-new vehicle segments and attracting a new generation of owners with its compelling designs and state-of-the-art engineering and safety technologies.
