Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi announces 2nd academic year, welcomes two new professors

Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi has opened its doors for new students on 27th September, announcing its second academic year.
PSUAD faculty and staff devoted their time to welcome students on the orientation day, answer their inquiries and ensure a convenient enrollment at the following majors: Archaeology & History of Arts, Law, Geography, History, French Literature, Languages & Business, Music & Musicology and Philosophy.
The Orientation day agenda included speeches by the Director General, Dr. Daniel Balland and his Deputy, Dr. Mohamed Al Shehhi, and the faculty, followed by touring around to discover the campus facilities, and completing registration at the Admissions Department.
Dr. Daniel Balland, Director General of the university, enthusiastically remarked: "As much anticipation this day will have for those new students, the confidence built in the graduating students of the Intensive French Program is much more". Those students are ready to join the Bachelor program after successfully completing one year of Intensive French Program and passing the DELF test.
Also, two new renowned professors, coming from Paris, joined the orientation day. Professor Bernard Franco, in charge of the Literature Studies, and Professor Jean-Yves de Cara, in charge of the Law and Political Science Department, are joining the five intellectual faculty members of PSUAD
The French Language department, headed by Associate Professor Anne Douaire is also witnessing an expansion; receiving twelve professors who are determined to enable their students of speaking French and thus join the Bachelor programs.
