Sun names new district sales manager for Saudi Arabia

Sun Microsystems MENA has announced the appointment of Jamal Said as the new District Sales Manager for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In his new role, Jamal will be focusing on a number of key customer focused initiatives covering a number of industry verticals and channel activities while leveraging Sun's leading suite of products and services.
"Jamal brings on board solid managerial skills and extensive experience in the IT industry and sales operations that are essential to Sun's growth in the Kingdom, and which reflects Sun's commitment in reinforcing its presence in the region," said Chris Cornelius, managing director for Sun Microsystems MENA.
In addition to a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Jamal also holds a Masters in Business Administration, both of which he earned from California State University, Long Beach. Prior to Sun Microsystems, Jamal assumed a number of positions with Pepsi Cola International from 1992 to 2000.
