Better Homes Property Listings set to challenge big publishers

- PRESS RELEASE
Better Homes, the region's largest real estate agency, has announced an agreement with HOT Media Publishing that sees the latter take over Property Listings, the realtor's monthly publication.
Since its introduction in April 2005, Property Listings has been incredibly well-received, with distribution now reaching 25,000. As the only consistent and up-to-date listings publication complete with colour coded map and property images, it has become the first port of call for people searching for property and a useful source of information for potential investors.
One of the magazine's biggest selling points is the fact that it contains only qualified listings that are taken directly from a live database.
"A huge part of the appeal of Property Listings is that all of our listings are as current as they can be, so unlike some of the other listings publications on the market, our data is reliable" commented Mark Humphreys, Director of Marketing at Better Homes, who went on to add that; "We are very proud of what we have achieved and where we have taken the magazine, there isn't anything else like it on the market."
HOT Media, the Middle East's first dedicated contract publishing company, currently publish magazines on behalf of Virgin Atlantic Airways and Kanoo Travel, the Middle East's largest travel agency.
They recognized the potential of the magazine and were pleased to be given the opportunity to take the publication forward.
As Managing Director Victoria Hazell-Thatcher says, "It's hard to have a conversation in Dubai without mentioning property, and so we've no doubt that the relaunched Property Listings will be the UAE's best-read magazine. There is so much a person needs to know before buying or renting a home, and we'll bridge that information gap."
"Like our other clients, Better Homes is a market-leading brand and its reach into the community is unparalleled. This gives us great scope to publish not just a fantastic property listings title, but a unique range of useful, intelligent, lifestyle guides which will enjoy unrivalled distribution to Better Homes' vast customer base."
Humphreys feels the time is right to hand over Property Listings as Better Homes has taken it as far as it can, saying; "We are really excited to be working with HOT Media. We knew that in order to keep improving the magazine it was necessary to bring in some specialists and HOT Media are an excellent company with the necessary expertise. I am confident that with HOT Media on board, we can go on to produce a range of titles to rival anything else in the market."
