Sekurus International L.L.C announces the launch of its school bus locators in the UAE

The solution is now available to UAE school management that maintains the interests of both pupils and parents alike.

Describing how the solution works, Sekurus International's CEO Basel Al Salah stated that the on board locator transmits real-time school bus tracking and current location in addition to how the bus is being driven and at what speed. "The core values of our service are increased safety, and security, that deliver peace of mind to both school administrators and parents."

"The school administration will have a network connection that will allow parents to login to the locator's web-based software via the school's website. When they log into the software it will ask the parent the bus number in which their child is traveling,"

"In real-time parents will be able to see the location of the vehicle," he said. "Alternatively, parents can automatically receive an SMS message based on the anticipated arrival of the bus at a pre-determined destination such as home."

"There are many schools in the UAE which have shown an interest in getting our system for their school buses," he added. "Some systems require the parents to call the school's call centre to find out the whereabouts of their child whereas the Sekurus International solution is entirely parent driven and flexible in that an automatic SMS messaging service is available that requires no direct school contact"

Many parents are saying that the tracking system will ease fears of the whereabouts of their children. "There have been many occasions that my son has arrived home late due to traffic delays. Often I panic and call the school ... and worry for his safe return," said Mary Jaffer, a working mother. "What I really would like is to go to the schools website and be able to see the school bus or even to receive an SMS when the bus is approaching home."
