- PRESS RELEASE
Tiffany & Co., the world's authority on luxury, introduces exquisite jewellery creations by Elsa Peretti, one of the brand's most respected and celebrated collaborators.
As one of the brilliant stars in Tiffany's galaxy of design masters, Elsa Peretti is acknowledged for her unrivalled status as a designer of merit. The new creations once again reiterate her unique stance and ability to bring out pieces that are not just beautiful but timeless too.
"Elsa Peretti's success lies in the purity of her designs which transforms everyday shapes to something truly remarkable. She is credited for making important contribution to transforming sterling silver into a metal of high-fashion. And as sterling silver was discovered by Tiffany & Co., her creative input turns all the more significant. Her elegant designs can be used everyday for both casual and formal events, while being immediately recognizable as exclusive pieces bearing her individual stamp", explains Ms. Pegah Goldooz, General Manager of Tiffany & Co. in the UAE.
Dainty does it
Diamonds by the Yard has often been called Elsa Peretti's tour de force, for it redefines the glamour and allure of diamond by setting it in a metal that matches its magic, platinum. The results are lightweight designs that are sheer and classic as well as utterly feminine. The collection's offerings include two sets of drop earrings: the first being a pear-shaped drop earring which 'drips' delicately from one single, rounded brilliant on its wearer's earlobe. And the other features five charming, perfect spheres of equal-sized brilliants arranged in stately, vertical succession and united in between by the most delicate links.
The other piece from this collection is a rigid necklace in 18k yellow gold, made up of a slim, delicate, circle of charm with just one, single dazzling diamond in the centre, g a glittering invitation one that is difficult to resist.
Peretti's Bone Cuffs in sterling silver and 18k gold are sculptural bracelets that embrace elegance and style of natural forms to proclaim the impeccable taste of its wearer. While her Mesh Earrings display the beauty of an idea which sees an exquisite strip of shimmering, sterling silver mesh, picked up by delicate hooks and transformed into an earring; the Peretti Open Heart pendant in sterling silver allows one to establish heartfelt feelings in soft contours in a sweetly appealing manner. The master designer's Sevillana pendant and earrings are designed around an unusually shaped hollow sphere, which has been slightly compressed at the top to turn into a pendant and dangle earrings - certainly beautiful and captivating!
Elsa Peretti's creations exude an innocence and purity that is almost tangible. The designs stand out in a display due to the signature style of their visionary designer. In her creations, one recognizes all that Tiffany has come to stand for over an awesome period embracing 170 years as America's foremost design house. Select a design for either yourself or as a gift for a loved one from one of her collections and it will come wrapped in Tiffany's famous Blue Box to make the occasion that much more special.
The Elsa Peretti collection is now available at all Tiffany & Co., stores in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
