Cleopatra Beauty Institute achieves rare 100% pass rate
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, October 02 - 2007 at 15:11
- PRESS RELEASE
Staff and students at Dubai's Cleopatra Beauty Institute (CBI) have been celebrating the outstanding success in achieving a 100% pass rate in the CIDESCO Examinations, the world's major international beauty therapy association.
"To achieve this pass rate is a wonderful reflection of the commitment of our students and the professionalism of our staff," said Daniella Russell, Managing Director of Wafi Health and Leisure. "We have been pioneers in introducing international qualifications to this region and it is very rewarding to see the growing enthusiasm among spa professionals for education and certification."
The graduates of CBI's CIDESCO class are now expected to take up posts at Dubai's leading spas and to begin their careers in the beauty and spa industry. In late September they will be invited to return to CBI to continue their professional development with further training in spa management.
Cleopatra Beauty Institute was established in 1999 as the Middle East's first internationally-endorsed beauty and holistic training centre. It offers a broad mix of courses, both intensive and long-term, and is the only beauty institution in the Middle East authorised to offer postgraduate and diploma CIDESCO courses.
CIDESCO, Comité international d'esthétique et de cosmetology, is the world's major international beauty therapy association. Its qualifications have been setting standards in the industry since 1957 and enable professionals to work in spas and beauty centres around the world.
