- Saudi Arabia: Wednesday, October 03 - 2007 at 10:46
- PRESS RELEASE
Al Jawal has launched the Local Roaming Number (LRN), a new service that enables visitors to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from all over the world, with cell phones from any service provider to obtain a local prepaid mobile number once entering Al Jawal network range without having to buy a new chip.
This service by Al Jawal provides extreme flexibility for visitors to the Kingdom, enabling users to make local and international phone calls at competitive low rates using the best network coverage in the Kingdom. The service also allows visitors to use their own numbers as well as their new local number simultaneously using the same mobile chip, only when wanting to make a call from the local number they must add (*1) before dialing the required number.
This service is automatically activated as soon as the user is in range with the Al Jawal network. The user will then receive a welcome message inviting him to call 1500 in order to activate the service and benefit from free balance offered from Al Jawal. In addition to that, Al Jawal offers a range of recharge cards 10, 20, 50, 100, and 300 SR, available at all Al Jawal outlets, certified distributors, and retail stores.
Al Jawal recently launched "Sawa Ziyara" service that provides all visitors to the Kingdom with a (120) day validity of the card from the time of activation. The card will also include the basic and value added services such as internet, MMS, voice messages and other Al Jawal services.
