HSBC plans brokerage firm

HSBC is establishing a brokerage company that will trade on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market and the Dubai Financial Market, reported the Bahrain Tribune. HSBC Middle East Securities will offer UAE domestic-market brokerage services to both institutional and retail investors. HSBC-MES is expected to begin trading by the end of this year and to offer retail brokerage services next year.
