Dubai International Holy Quran Award honours City 7 TV

City 7 TV, the UAE's premier English language television channel, was given recognition for its media support on the 11th Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA).
"We enjoyed filming the competition. It was such a joy listening to the contestants reciting the Holy Quran. They were very nice people and the event was very well managed, Abdul Rahman stated narrating his experience.
On the same circumstance, Ussama remarked "It was a great honour to receive this kind of recognition especially from such a prestigious event. I was inspired to be a part of something very organised and noble cause,"
"In fact one of the contestants that we chose to profile was the over all winner, for that we felt privileged to have covered it" they added.
Ron Kapadia, City 7 TV's Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director proudly commented, "City 7 TV continues its efforts to be the first English language showcase of one of the most dynamic economies in the world. We remain in step with the government and the residents of the UAE delivering the achievements of the place we live in. We hope to be able to take the vision of the UAE government and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to the world. DIHQA is one of the worthy events we are proud to be a part of."
The 11th Dubai International Holy Quran Award held its awarding ceremony 2nd October. This event was established to service the Holy Book and promote the general standard of Quranic performance and to encourage memorizers of the Holy Quran from all over the world
