Adel Kana'an appointed VP for Edgo Ventures in Jordan

During his previous employment with the Edgo Group, Adel had earned a series of promotions to eventually become Deputy General Manager of Reda Pump Libya in 2004. He spent a total of nine years with Edgo in Libya progressing up through the ranks from application engineer when he joined in 1998.

Adel is an accomplished engineer with significant involvement in HSE and with a diversity of qualifications from Schlumberger. He has specialised in Reda products and his earlier experience was in logging/completion and perforating services; he has also worked in construction. Adel holds a BSc honours degree from Southampton University (UK) in civil engineering.

Edgo Ventures Limited (EV) is the Group's corporate finance and investment management arm. EV focuses on expanding the Group's oil field service activities through mergers and acquisitions, providing financial structuring and capital raising expertise for the Group's exploration & production affiliate, Edgo Energy Limited and also developing the Group's investments in non-Energy related fields.

Adel will work directly with EV's Managing Director, Omar Masri within the Group's areas of operation; he will also be supporting other Group companies and affiliates.
