DTCM hosts 50 UK travel agents

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) recently hosted a familiarization trip for 50 UK travel agents in order to update them and provide insights into Dubai's latest tourist attractions, new projects and developments.
The Dubai Expert Experience workshop was held at the Grand Hyatt on October 1, where officials from Emirates airline and Mr. Abdullah bin Swaidan, DTCM Deputy Director Missions, gave a series of presentations to the visiting UK travel agents about the role of the DTCM in putting Dubai on top of the world tourism map and the future plans of the emirate's tourism industry.
There were representatives from Fairmont Dubai, Moevenpick Bur Dubai, Grand Hyatt Dubai and Taj Palace Hotel who also gave presentation about the future plans of their respective companies.
Earlier in the day, the visiting agents were also given a tour of the Jumeirah Mosque by the volunteers of the Sheikh Mohammed Center for Cultural Understanding.
