New Siemens Gigaset phones in Better Life stores now

The Siemens Gigaset E455 (with answering machine) is shock-, dust- and splash-resistant. The phone comes with handsfree speech facility and optional attachable earphone to ensure comfort and flexibility while using the phone. All functions can be operated with ease thanks to the phone's illuminated keypad and large colour display.

Ajai Dayal, General Manager, Retail and Marketing, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, said: "In a market dominated by mobile phones, we must not forget that people using landlines demand the same levels of innovation and functionality. We saw a requirement for reliable cordless phones with accessible functions for both families and business entities."

Dayal added, "The launch of both the Gigaset SL560 and E455 in the UAE will give customers the benefits of both luxury and convenience at home."

The new cordless SL560 is compatible with Bluetooth headsets to allow data and vCards to be exchanged with a PC or mobile phone. Other features of the handset include: handsfree calling and voice dialling, SMS, vibracall function, a large illuminated colour display and polyphone ringtones.

Phone users can scroll through the icon menu with the central five-way navigation key. For business use, the large-capacity address book can be synchronized with Microsoft Outlook on a PC and has space for up to 250 entries with three phone numbers, an e-mail address and birthday date for each contact.
