Oman Air honors travel and tourism agencies in Beirut

Oman Air Station in Lebanon held recently its annual awards ceremony to honor travel and tourism agencies in Beirut.
The event started with a welcome speech by Mr. Abdulla Zantout, Country Manger of Oman Air in Beirut who praised the positive contribution of the travel and tourism agencies, and their constructive cooperation to promote, furthermore sustain the growth of business. He highlighted the keenness of Oman Air to host such events whereby express gratitude and appreciation towards associates. This was followed by 2005 - 2006 awards presentation and appreciation certificates awarded for top agents, who had through their dedicated efforts significantly increased sales and revenues on Muscat / Beirut sector.
Zantout expressed Oman Air's keenness to host such events at all its stations around the word, in recognition of agents' efforts, supporting the company's status and assist, consequentially achieve its anticipated goals.
Corporate Communications & Media Department commented on the occasion by saying, Oman Air is currently witnessing fundamental transformations being 82% owned by the government of Oman. This without doubt will have an important impact in strengthening the company's presence. The company is already undergoing noteworthy expansions through inaugurating or else announcing commencement of upcoming new destinations. The latest were Riyadh and Jeddah in September, Karachi in October, London and Bangkok to launch on November this year. In addition, other international destinations are to follow in due course within the company's aggressive growth plans that reflect the objectives of the Executive Management and the directives of the Board of Directors.
Corporate Communications & Media concluded by noting that Oman Air is currently operating direct international flights from its hub from Muscat to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait, Riyadh , Jeddah, Cairo, Beirut, and Amman in the Middle East. In addition, the airline operates direct flights to eight destinations in India those are Mumbai, New Delhi, Kochi, Hyderabad, Trivandrum, Chennai, Lucknow, and Jaipur, also to Chittagong in Bangladesh, Karachi in Pakistan. Oman Air operates domestic flights linking Muscat with both Khasab and Salalah.
