E-Vision signs pay-per-view deal with Al Mansoor Technical Services

E-Vision, the leading cable TV provider in the region which is a part of Etisalat has signed an agreement with Al Mansoor Technical Services to bring the latest Bollywood movies to viewers in the United Arab Emirates.

The partnership allows E-Vision to show the latest blockbuster movies through Al Mansoor and offer them through its pay-per-view service (eView) from October soon after their release in theatres. The deal was negotiated by Kamal Nassif, Pay per View Manager, E-Vision and Mr Khushi Khaltwani,President of Al Mansoor Technical Services.

The agreement will allow E-Vision to provide the latest titles—including Partner,Bombay to Goa, Gandhi My Father and other latest titles. E-Vision is currently showing "Cheeni Kum" which has Amitabh Bachhan and Tabu in the lead roles as part of the first roster of films being shown under this agreement.

Commenting on the deal, Humaid Rashid Sahoo,CEO ,E-Vision said: "This agreement will bring the best of Bollywood movies to the homes of E-Vision customers here in the UAE. Bringing the latest Hindi movies complements our objective of delivering the best quality content to our customers and we believe eView today delivers one of the best pay per view experience for viewers in the UAE with its diverse and compelling content."

Al Mansoor along with their partner Phars Film are the oldest and biggest operator in the business of home entertainment dealing predominantly in Indian mainstream cinema. The company has the largest chain of distribution network in the GCC with rental & retail outlets operating across UAE. Al Mansoor manages distribution rights for theatrical as well as home video release of approximately 90% of the Indian (Hindi language) films in the Gulf region.
