The inauguration event held in 'JCC Yard' at Villagio Mall in Doha, was broadcast live on Al Jazeera Children's Channel. Over 700 children witnessed the spectacular shows presented at this event.

The milestone came part of the channel's strategy to extend, multiply and diversify its line of communication and reach its young Arab audience around the world. Over the last couple of years, and after a thorough market study, the marketing and distribution team at JCC has put an enormous effort setting up this project so today the Channel could open its first shop; offering by that, a selection of new JCC Yard products designed specifically to provide the children with new learning and fun dimensions.

JCC Yard brings a wide array of joyful and colorful toys, mind games, and schooling accessories, designed and manufactured according to international safety standards for children's products. JCC Yard offers some exclusive items attributed to the Channel's renowned characters like FAFA, LULU, MARMAR and NAD, warmhearted, and funny characters loved by most kids. The toys and gadgets were selected through a careful process where research and trial were made to ensure the products meet the likeness and expectations of JCC young fans.

'The materials used in the products available at 'JCC Yard' were subject to a strict development process, meeting the world's safety measures and specifications in Children's toys sector,' said Malika Alouane, Director of Marketing and Communications at Al Jazeera Children's Channel. 'Over the last couple of years, we collaborated with an international network of specialised companies in manufacturing children's products around the world, like UK, India, Taiwan and many other countries.'

'JCC Yard is an independent commercial entity strictly focusing on retail operations, and we are aiming to develop this joyful experience to reach our audience in other parts of the Arab countries and the world,' Alouane concluded.
