- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, October 07 - 2007 at 11:33
- PRESS RELEASE
The Prime Minister's Office will open today (Sunday) a three-day workshop, on the UAE Government Strategy, for representatives of four federal departments. It will be held in Dubai from October 7-9.
The seminar will provide federal government officials with skills and techniques to better understand the UAE Government Strategy's key elements and principles. It will also enable them to develop tactical approaches that meet the objectives laid out in the Strategy.
Critical elements of the planning process, strategic analysis and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are some of the key issues to be explored at the workshop.
Dr. Tarek A. Hatem, Professor of Management at the American University in Cairo and Associate Lecturer at Dubai School of Government, along with Hassan Khudair, a Senior Management Consultant at the Prime Minister's Office, will lead discussions during the workshop.
In September, the Prime Minister's Office organised two similar workshops in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, targeting senior government officials in charge of developing the UAE federal authorities' strategic plans. Earlier in March, representatives of the ministerial strategic planning teams attended two workshops on the UAE Government Strategy.
