Tameer donates Dhs5m to 'Dubai Cares'

'Dubai Cares' announced that Tameer has donated Dhs5m to the campaign, launched by H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to educate more than one million children in poverty stricken countries.
He added: "Tameer's contribution is our response to the call of duty and an expression of our commitment to participate hand in hand with other donors - both individuals and companies - to realise the goals of this campaign."
Launched on 19 September 2007, the campaign is Dubai's contribution to a global drive to help countries achieve their U.N. Millennium Development Goals of providing primary education to every child by 2015 and reflects His Highness' belief that education is a key component to sustainable development and stability in the world.
