Commenting on the choice of Oracle's e-Business Suite (Release 12) as TIH's Enterprise Resource Planning platform, Mr. Wazir Ali Daredia, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, said: 'With the launch of our fifth project 'The Pentiminium' TIH has been catapulted to the elite club of leading global property developers and now boasts of a truly international clientele. A direct implication of this has been that we have had to further intensify our existing focus on transparency, adoption of global best practices and partnering with global leaders.
'Oracle's Release 12 is an ideal fit for our requirements as it represents a major enhancement over previous releases with over 2,350 new capabilities and 12 new modules / products. The new Release is aimed at enabling clients to work globally to be more competitive, think globally to make the right decisions and manage globally to lower cost and increase performance. Additionally, GTS has gained the reputation of being one of the foremost ERP implementers especially in the real estate segment and we are thus extremely confident of the success of our partnership with them,' Mr. Daredia added.
As per the terms of the agreement GTS will be responsible for a complete end-to-end Oracle Release 13 implementation at TIH consisting of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain Management, Order Management, Project Management and Customer Relation Management modules together with a customized Property Application developed by it. The entire implementation, through which TIH aims at achieveing significantly improved operational efficiency and better financial controls resulting in a stronger bottom line, is scheduled for completion by January 2008.
Commenting on the agreement with TIH Mr. Shankar Iyer, Director, GTS, said: 'It is a great pleasure to be associated with Trident International in their Oracle e-Business implementation initiative and we are particularly proud of this implementation as it emphasis GTS's dominance in the real estate and construction industry.'

Trident International to implement next generation Oracle e-business Suite (Release 12)
Trident International Holdings (TIH), the promoters of the world's most luxurious residential tower 'The Pentominium', today announced that it has become one of the first few companies in the region to commence implementation of the next-generation Oracle e-Business Suite (Release 12) through Global Technology Services (GTS), a 100 % subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC).
