DIFW recently announced the appointment of fashion editor/celebrity stylist Kithe Brewster as the event's Creative Director for the next three years.
Kithe Brewster enjoys an extremely loyal following amongst those who thirst for boldly creative designs and innovative thinking. Kithe's varied experiences in Europe and America have shaped his unique sensibilities and provided a deep knowledge of what it takes to create and market cutting-edge fashion.
The consolidation of Kithe's styling and editorial achievements are well evident through his portfolio of clients and associations.
Vanity Fair, Interview, Flaunt, Chic (Dutch), Scene, British Elle, French, American Jalouse, and Squint Magazine, where he is currently New York fashion editor of Squint Homme and contributing Fashion Editor at large of Squint. These are just some of the many publications that have witnessed Kithe's editorial efficacy.
His portfolio of celebrity clients resembles an excerpt of the "Who's Who of the Global Entertainment & Fashion Industry". With names like Julianne Moore, Celine Dion, Gwenyth Paltrow, Halle Berry, Iman, Diane Lane, Eva Mendes, Usher, and Heidi Klum. Kithe is known to dress the best there is. Additionally Kithe has had the opportunity to work with some of the most iconic international brands including Revlon, L'Oreal, Roc-A-Wear, Puma and Ralph Lauren.
"Dubai is the region's international fashion central, and DIFW has successfully marked itself as the official event of its fashion trade. I was greatly impressed by the event's first edition and am looking forward adding even more value to the event" said Kithe Brewster. The 2nd edition of DIFW, Spring Summer 2008 (SS08), will be held on October 22-25, 2007 at the One&Only Royal Mirage Hotel. Concept Events, the organizers of DIFW are geared towards building on the outstanding outcome of the previous DIFW. With the addition of Kithe to the team DIFW aims at heightening the entire experience.
