Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum honors Dubai Customs Airport inspectors

Dubai Customs Center at Dubai International Airport succeeded last month in stopping two suspected men while trying to smuggle a huge amount of heroine concealed in almond nuts.
Praising Dubai Customs inspectors' efforts that led last month to foiling one of the largest drugs smuggling attempts at Dubai International Airport, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum presented to the inspectors honoring certificates.
H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum saluted the great efforts of Dubai Customs in protecting the society from serious dangers, saying: "Your remarkable efforts are most appreciated. It is the responsibility you bear in order to serve your country and its citizens."
Mr. Ahmed Butti Ahmed expressed his gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed for his kind gesture toward Dubai Customs saying: "His Highness always look upon the leading accomplishments achieved by the citizens of this country and honors them. This honoring today emphasizes the vital role played by Dubai Customs to protect the society from the external hazards. Dubai Customs are the responsible watchful eye safeguarding the people of this country."
"These outstanding achievements show the highest levels of awareness, professionalism and efficiency of Dubai Customs' inspectors," he added.
On Wednesday 19th of September, Dubai Customs Center at Dubai International Airport apprehended two Afghani passengers coming to Dubai from Kundhahar on board of the Afghani Airlines with possession of 47 kilograms of Heroin worth millions of dollars.
