Dubai to get 18 new police stations, says Lt Gen Dahi Khalfan

Dubai Police Chief Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim announced 18 new police stations will be set up throughout Dubai as part of its strategy.

Speaking at the Ramadan Majlis hosted by Dubai Press Club, Tamim said the centres will undertake intensified patrolling duties to reduce the lead time in responding to traffic accidents and other road emergencies, and avoid congestion.

The Majlis, attended by of a number of journalists, was sponsored by the Road and Transport Authority (RTA).

As part of its annual Ramadan calendar, Dubai Press Club is hosting key dignitaries from the UAE's government and private sector.
