With a mission to raise awareness of the world's rapidly depleting resources of non-renewable fuel and to demonstrate the viability of alternative-energy transportation, Palmer's self designed three wheeled taxi vehicle is a two-seater car with a long trailer, entirely powered by solar energy. The global tour, covering at least 50,000 km through 50 countries in five continents, will take 14 months to complete.
