FDIC Bahrain continues to develop an excellent firefighter training programme, as well as providing a great line up of high profile speakers for the conference and an exhibition that will showcase some of the leading and latest technology in the fire industry.
As part of the event's Hands-On-Training (HOTs) sessions, which offer training to firefighters in real life situations and run by many of the world's leading experienced fire trainers, FDIC Bahrain will be using a variety of venues around Manama on the 9th and 10th December, including Awali (for Basement Firefighting), Banagas (for Refinery Fires - Hot Fire Spill), Bapco Tank Farm & GPIC (for Refinery Fires), Bahrain Civil Defence Fire School (for High Angle Rope Rescue, Flashover / Backdraft and Structural Firefighting), Bapco desert site (for Flange Fires & Free Oil Fires).
Top international industry experts, including Dwight Williams (USA), Eric LaVergne (USA), Simon Rogers (Australia) and Francesco Rosetti (South Africa), will be sharing their knowledge and experiences to the fire industry, in a programme designed to those engaged municipal and structural firefighting, as well as those from the petrochemical, industrial, marine and aviation sectors.
The 5 day event, from 9th to 13th December, will be hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the main exhibition and conference held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, from 11th to 13th December.
The event also hosts the region's leading fire industry exhibition, offering over 100 companies exhibiting their products and services for today's fire industry professional.
The exhibition will showcase the latest in equipment and technology that enables the fire professional to do their job.

Excellent progress continues to be made in the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC Bahrain) for the opening of the event on 9th December.
