The conference's agenda reflected the systematic co-ordination between ADTA and various government and private organisations, and comprised of lectures, workshops and field tours to Abu Dhabi's various tourist attractions. All the activities were focused on providing the attendees with updated information on the emirate's infrastructure, environment, heritage and culture, as well as the tourist attractions that positions Abu Dhabi as a leading destination in the region.
Mr. Nasser Saif Al Reyami, Director of ADTA's Licensing and Classification Division, presented the 31 attendees with graduation certificates. Accolades and valuable rewards were given to outstanding performers.
"ADIC is focused on integrating all the tourism components of the emirate and enhancing co-ordination amongst them. This will enrich the visitor's experience through enhanced customer service and customer relations, ensured by the training offered to hospitality professionals,"
said Al Reyami.
ADIC will add further dimensions to the tourism experience of Abu Dhabi by providing visitors with accurate data and in-depth information about the differentiating elements of the emirate's tourism industry. The conference also reflected ADTA's efforts to promote and invest in various tourism-related elements, particularly, human resources.
Al Reyami concluded: "The various activities of ADIC are aimed at enhancing the art of customer care and implementating world-class career development standards in the emirate's professional hospitality sector. This will ensure further growth for tourism industry in Abu Dhabi."
