Foreign investors purchase Dhs3.012bn worth of shares on DFM during last week, and sold Dhs1.792bn

Dubai Financial Market announced today that the value of shares and bonds bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (October 7 - October 10) reached Dhs3.012bn comprising 41.3 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

• Value of shares bought by institutional investors reaches AED 2.515 billion during last week, and value of shares sold reached AED 1.342 billion.

The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached AED 1.792 billion comprising 24.6 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached AED 1.220 billion during the same period, as aggregate buy.

The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached AED 2.515 billion comprising 34.5 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED 1.342 billion which constitutes 18.4 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached AED 1.174 billion during the period. as aggregate buy.
