Kuwait inflation near 12-year high

Inflation in Kuwait climbed to almost 5% in July, approaching a 12-year high, due to high transport and housing costs, reported Reuters. Kuwait's All Items Consumer Price Index rose to 118 points at the end of July, compared with 112.4 points a year earlier. Inflation in July was 4.98%, compared with 4.36% in June.
