The suhoor party for 300 staff was attended by the bank's CEO reporters and board members, and came as a part of the seasonal and regular activities CBI is keen to organize with the aim of creating a pleasant bonding atmosphere where staff can enjoy a break from their daily routine while boosting their professional performance and loyalty to the bank.

Commenting on this occasion, H.E. Humaid Al Qatami, CBI's Deputy Chairman and UAE Minister of Health, said: "We always encourage social activities and gatherings for our valued staff members. This gathering has a special significance for all of us in celebrating the days of the Holy Month of Ramadan as well as celebrating the success of CBI and its family."

"2007 has been a great success for CBI, and is reflected in the high profits achieved, the restructuring implemented and staff empowerment. All this wouldn't have been possible without the full wholehearted dedication and loyalty of the CBI employees," continued Al Qatami.

The evening saw the distribution of the long service certificates and awards for a total of 13 CBI employees, as a recognition for their outstanding performance and dedication throughout 10 years and more at CBI. Awards were handed by H.E. Al Qatami and Mr. Abdulla Amer, Head of Human Resources and Administration.

The awards ceremony was followed by revealing the fun and lively interactive side of CBI employees, as a Ramadan series of quizzes were drawn, and awards were drawn to win valuable prizes courtesy of the bank.

On the long term, CBI will remain committed to executing a growth-oriented internal communications plan that focuses on its relationship beyond banking, maintaining the family bonds amongst its staff members.
