Tatweer sponsoring 'Dubai Cares' auction

Tatweer, a member of Dubai Holding, is sponsoring "Signature", a personal belonging and art auction held under the patronage of HH Sheikha Manal Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Women Establishment.
All proceeds from the auction will go to the 'Dubai Cares' campaign, a charity drive held during the Holy Month of Ramadan to help educate one million children in poor countries. The campaign was launched by launched by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
Commenting on Tatweer's involvement in the auction, Saeed Al Muntafiq, Executive Chairman, Tatweer, said: "We are honoured to announce our sponsorship of this signature auction, as we would like to help raise substantial funds for the campaign. We will welcome every contribution, however big or small, and pledge all proceeds to the noble cause that aims to educate a million children globally."
Mona Al Marri, Chairperson, Dubai Women's Establishment, commented on the auction saying: "The auction expresses the personal commitment of our society's most privileged, who have already responded to HH Sheikh Mohammed's call to support the campaign. Families and individuals have contributed substantial sums to 'Dubai Cares' and continue to show eagerness in participating in other ways - such as the auction - to give hope to these children."
'Dubai Cares' joins a list of international initiatives launched in Dubai that express Dubai's will to play an effective role contributing to achieving the world's mission to secure a better tomorrow for future generations.
The campaign is Dubai's contribution to a global drive to assist countries in achieving their U.N. Millennium Development Goals for providing Children's Primary Education to every child by 2015.
