Al Murooj contributes to the success of Emiratization

Al Murooj Rotana Hotel & Suites, one of the leading business properties on Sheikh Zayed road, is actively supporting the process of Emiratization, which has gradually embraced the major sectors of Dubai economy.
Mr. Hussein Hachem, the General Manager of the hotel has recently received five Higher Diploma students from Dubai Women's College. The visit was part of their research project in order to familiarize themselves with company's operation, its present and future plans. During the meeting, Mr. Hachem has also enlightened the students about latest trends in Dubai economy and tourism sector in particular.
The present multinational team of Al Murooj Rotana Hotel & Suites comprises staff members of more than 40 nationalities. As per Hussein Hachem, the future focus lies on increasing the number of local employees, especially in such departments as Guest Relations, Government & Employee relations.
Commenting further, Hussein Hachem added that such collaboration contributes immensely to the overall success of Emiratization process and also reflects commitment of Rotana Hotels to providing UAE nationals with challenging career opportunities, which has resulted in formation of Duroob Program.
Mr. Nasser Al Nowais, Chairman, Rotana Hotels: "There are no better people to run the tourism industry in the UAE than the nationals themselves, they know our country and they can see the potential of growing with it."
DUROOB is a fast track development program that will be a drive for UAE Nationals to grow faster within the hospitality industry. This program is instrumental in helping young national secure jobs by providing them with the necessary training and work experience to understand the working environment and be motivated to pursue a career within this industry.
