RTA appoints a number of competent nationals in key posts

HE Mattar Al Tayer Chairman of Board of Directors, Executive Director of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), issued decisions to appoint a number of competent nationals to fill key positions in RTA's agencies, departments and sections.
The decision included the appointment of Adnan Jumaa Al Bahar as Deputy Director of Commercial Affaires and Investment Department. He holds a Master's degree in business studies from the University of Hull, UK 2002, and also holds a "Chartered Marketer" from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) of the UK.
This is considered a rare degree in the region and the world. He occupied many positions before joining the RTA, including Administration and Public Relations Manager at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, Public Relations Manager at Al Thuraya Telecommunications Company, Student Affaires Manager at Dubai University College and Public Relations and Marketing Assistant Manager at Dubai Aluminum Company. Al Bahar enjoys marketing skills and a variety of administrative capabilities.
Zayed Mohammad Redha was also appointed as Research and Development Manager at the Commercial Affaires and Investment Department. He holds Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science and Business Administration, and Higher Diploma in Business Administration and Marketing in 2002 from the Higher Technical Colleges for men in Dubai. Before joining the RTA, Redha filled several positions, including Marketing Senior Executive Emirates Gas. He enjoys a number of capabilities and administrative skills.
The decisions also included the appointment of Zuhair Ibrahim Ali to fill the position of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Manager at the Marine Agency. He holds a Higher Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the Higher Technical Colleges in1997, in addition to the Diploma from the ADNOC Institute in 1989. Ali prior to join the RTA occupied a number of positions including, Shifts Manager at Al Tawela Station and Services Station Supervisor in Das Island. He enjoys many capabilities and technical skills in his area of work, in addition to administrative potentials.
