LG Electronics hosts Media Club members to an Iftar

The event was organized by the LGE Media Club to be the fifth meeting it holds since its launch in August 2006, and was held in celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan and to continue building interpersonal relationships with members of the press corps.

When asked to comment on the evening, Mr. Kevin Cha, General Manager of the LGE Amman Branch said, 'It gives us great pleasure to see the media representatives with us on this special Ramadan event, as we at LGE appreciate all the efforts our Media representatives undergo to make our services and products known to Jordanian consumers. Our Media Club events are our way of commemorating the media's continual support for us. It is their diligence and loyalty that enable us to communicate our news to the public. This event presents itself as a wonderful opportunity for the management at LGE to strengthen the ties with the media, and we hope to continue creating joint partnerships between the company and the media in the long run. I thank everyone who attended this event for coming and I wish them all a Happy and Blessed Ramadan.'

Mr. Cha further added that he hopes to see more opportunities for interaction between LGE and the Media in the near future.

Following the comedic show 'La Yomal', which LGE sponsored for the second year running, LGE presented all the media club members with a small token of appreciation and in congratulation for the holiday season. The media from were also invited to sample the delicious food that is prepared at the LGE Microwave Live Cooking Station.

From his end, Mr. Ghazi Farouq the Assistant Managing Director for Marketing at the Middle East Complex, an agent for LGE products in Jordan said, 'Ramadan presents itself as a time for family gatherings and good will. We felt the need to organize this event because we view every member of the LGE Media Club as part of the LGE and MEC family. The media forms an integral part of our mission to provide a better quality of life for all sectors of the Jordanian community and we strive to achieve this goal with the media's help and through the technical advancement seen in the LGE product range we offer within the Jordanian market. The Jordanian press is also one of the key factors that aid in further propagating our corporate social responsibility initiatives.'
