Oracle gives back to community on Global Volunteers Day

The volunteers visited Health & Hope Oasis that is currently under construction and helped in painting one unit of the building with colorful designs, under the supervision of a designer artist.

Realizing that medication is not only enough for all cancer cases, the Health and Hope Oasis project is a wholistic approach aimed at serving children with cancer who could be cared for in a safe and sound environment, with their mothers and siblings. This vision became reality with the Health and Hope Oasis in Wadi Natrun where an operating farm was donated for this project. The farm provides some of the needed food such as fruits, vegetables, eggs, milk, and chicken, to insure the sustainability of the project.

Oracle also joined efforts with the Egyptian Food Bank to help them pack dry food supplies to be distributed all year round to families in need. Oracle Volunteers spent a day packing dry food items in bags and storing them in the warehouses.

Oracle Volunteers oversee the Global Volunteer Days and help create opportunities for Oracle employees and their families to actively address social needs and make a measurable, positive impact in the community.
