Etisalat $490m Q3 profit

Etisalat made a net profit of $489.6m in Q3 and the telco provider is set to see its revenue grow by 30% in 2007 due to more subscribers in the UAE and overseas expansion, reported Gulf News. The firm earned a net profit of $1.5bn for the first nine months of the year. Etisalat has also upped its holding in Zanzibar Telecom by 17% and it now has a majority stake.
