- PRESS RELEASE
Taameer Jordan Holdings announced that it will, for the first time, tout a detailed model of its Al-Jiza residential project at its pavilion exhibited in the Cityscape Expo in Dubai this month.
Considered the largest residential project developed in Jordan, Al Jiza is developed in collaboration with the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDC) and with an investment of US$ 900 million. Al Jiza's first phase is being constructed on a 3 million sqm plot with around 16,000 housing units aimed to be delivered by 2012.
Reflecting modern living, the project's water pipes, electricity, communication cables, and roadways adhere to global standards. Furthermore, Al Jiza offers a comprehensive set of facilities and services ranging from schools, commercial complexes, medical clinics, entertainment outlets, public parks, and parking lots. In order to make Al Jiza affordable to low- and middle-income segments, price for units begin at 24,000 Jordanian Dinars (JODs).
Eng. Khalid Dahleh, Board Chairman and CEO of Taameer Jordan Holdings said, "This is Taameer Jordan Holdings' first appearance at Cityscape through which we will showcase three of our flagship projects, each representing a different and unique concept real-estate development for various segments and lifestyles. By showcasing Al Jiza Residential project, we are presenting large scale housing complexes that cater to low- and middle-income segments; and by showcasing Al Andalucia we are modeling the first Jordanian gated and fully serviced community; and finally, by displaying our successful touristic Red Sea Resort we are presenting the true concept of a 'Family's Second Home' model."
At Taameer Jordan Holdings' pavilion, Cityscape visitors can take a closer look at the Al Andalucia project, Jordan's first gated community, which consists of 570 villas created using 10 different architectural designs. Comfortably spacious in comparison to other projects available in the market, Al Andalucia villas vary from 312 to 650 sqm in build up area and are constructed on plots of land that are 500 to 2000 sqm. Within its bounds, the community will enjoy access to its exclusive shopping malls, entertainment outlets, public parks and gardens, security, and other services available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Strategically located on the golden shores of Aqaba, Taameer Jordan Holdings' Red Sea Resort project consists of 260 sea-view villas, developed using 4 different architectural designs and is constructed on a 147,000 sqm hill-side plot. The resort hosts an array of high-end services such as a spa, a fully equipped health club, swimming pools, and entertainment outlets.
