Tamweel cooperates with Microsoft to upgrade its IT infrastructure

In line with Chris Capossela's, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Business Division Product Management Group, visit to the Middle East and his meeting with Tamweel's Chief Executive Officer, Adel Al Shirawi, Microsoft and Tamweel are cooperating to conduct a major upgrade on Tamweel's IT infrastructure and prepare the company for the rapid growth and expansion in the national as well as regional markets.

Microsoft and Tamweel will work to set world class infrastructure and solution for the banking industry through the Microsoft Connected Financial Framework, which will help Tamweel streamline their operations, improve their e-service, apply a service oriented architecture all with improved scalability and efficiency.

"The financial sector is extremely important for us, and we have been working with a number of banks from across the region in the application of IT infrastructures that improves their operations and focuses on enhancing the customer services," said Charbel Fakhoury, General Manager Microsoft Gulf. "Tamweel will be a key partner for us as they are a leader in their field which will help us also improve our services as we set new industry standards."
