Tourism Ireland, the all-island body which is responsible for growing overseas tourism to Ireland, officially appointed Dubai based, Gulf Reps Ltd as the Emerald Isle's representation company in July 2007.
Since then, Gulf Reps had been searching for the ideal Account Manager to oversee the promotional activities and growth of the destination in the region.
Gulf Reps Managing Partner, Leo Fewtrell, says; 'Having worked for Emirates Airline and a major multi-national company here in Dubai, Aiveen's strong marketing background and experience in the Middle East, provides her with a unique insight into the travel requirements of the wide variety of nationalities from this region targeted by Tourism Ireland. We are very excited with Aiveen's appointment and are looking forward to introducing her to our trade, corporate and commercial partners in the region.'
Aiveen's Irish background provides a wealth of destination knowledge and experience to the team.
'Having lived in Dubai for the last seven years, I am delighted to have this opportunity to market my home country in the GCC. I believe that Ireland as a holiday destination has a varied and unique product offering that will appeal to the differing needs and interests of consumers from this market' says Aiveen.
