Dubai Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India announces New Managing Committee

At the recent Annual General Meeting of the Dubai Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) the new managing committee was elected for the year 2007 - 2008.

The members elected to the committee are CA V.P.Nagarajan as Chairman, CA M.Hanumantha Kumar as Vice Chairman, S.Venkatesh as Secretary, CA Rajiv K. Shah as Treasurer and CA James Mathew and CA Shabbir Ahmed as Executive Members.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is the second largest Accounting body in the world with 140,000 members. The Dubai Chapter of ICAI is actively involved in enhancing and updating the professional knowledge of its members and towards this end, conducts several professional lectures and seminars for its members.

The Dubai Chapter of ICAI has been in existence in Dubai for 25 years and currently comprises of 1000 members who are actively involved in the development of the accounting profession in the UAE. The Dubai Chapter of ICAI is the largest and most active Chapter among the 15 overseas chapters of ICAI.
