Cityscape is now in its sixth year and is established as the largest business-to-business real estate investment and development event in the world.
Lowery indicates that his organisation's participation at the event will assist in raising the profile of waterfront development across the region and help to build an industry that is quite new to the Middle East.
'The sheer number of our partners choosing to build near or around water requires a thriving marine development industry. IGY is spearheading the industry's development in the region and the sales success of our Anchor Marina project bears testament to the demand being experienced in the GCC.'
IGY's Anchor Marina on The Palm Jumeirah, which will be completed in early 2008, will be showcased at the organisation's stand in Hall 1. Anchor Marina is expected to revolutionize yachting in the Middle East with its luxurious berthing and advanced technological elements providing standards that marine enthusiasts have yet to see in the region.
The completed marina will cater for yachts between 10 and 30 metres in length and will offer concierge services on spacious concrete pontoons with some of the most modern technology available to boat owners, including underwater lighting and wireless internet connections.
Such advanced waterfront developments have become the norm for IGY who develop marinas through in-house engineering and design expertise, which are then sold, managed and marketed on behalf of their partners.
'Our complete offering is our differentiating factor that attracts partners and allows for the successful development of projects such as Anchor Marina, which has experienced a first phase sell-out in record time.
'IGY wants to change the way water based developments are viewed in the region and Cityscape is giving us a platform from which to do this,' concludes Lowery.
