The Run/Walk will take place from 9:00am on the 27th at Al Ain Palm Sports Resort, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and is open to anyone and everyone who wishes to participate.

Mr. Michael Heindel, CEO, Tawam Hospital supports this event in the hopes that it will become a popular yearly event that will grow in size as will the awareness of breast cancer amongst women in the UAE and the Middle East. We ask the participation of Al Ain residents as well as participation from residents of other communities and cities in the UAE.

In an earlier press release Heindel said "Breast Cancer Awareness campaigns have done a great deal to increase knowledge about the disease, many of these women have routine mammograms, perform self examinations on a routine basis and are proactive with their health".

The Tawam Hospital Breast Cancer Awareness Committee will hold pre-registration sessions at Starbuck's Café in the main lobby of the hospital on the 16th & 22nd of October and special collector t-shirts will be given to the first 500 registrants of the race.
