Gulf Craft continues to expand its presence internationally

Gulf Craft Inc, the Middle East's largest boat and yacht manufacturer received a record number of visitors at this year's Cannes Boat and Yacht Show held at the prestigious Port Pierre Canto, Cannes, France.

Represented by Global Service Boat (GSB), Gulf Craft's designated dealership in France and Spain, welcomed visitors from across Europe interested in the Majesty Yachts range. The premier boat exhibition provided a platform to highlight the Majesty Yachts range to both local and international visitors in the European market and resulted in several orders for Majesty Yachts.

Speaking at the exhibition, Erwin Bamps, Executive Manager, Gulf Craft, said; "I would like to show our appreciation for all GSB's hard work at the Cannes Boat and Yacht Show 2007. This show along with other major European boat shows represents an increasingly important market for Gulf Craft Inc., which now exports more than 70 per cent of its output of over 700 vessels a year.

"Customers will also see the prominent Majesty Yachts participation in the Athens Boat Show from 27th October to the 4th November 2007 and in the Barcelona Boat show from the 3rd November to the 11th November, It is a great opportunity for us to meet Industry professionals from across Europe and extend our presence in this significant market".

Gulf Craft's Majesty 50 was exhibited at the harbour during the show and attracted a record number of visitors. The Cannes Boat and Yacht Show is a major attraction in the boating calendar and receives more than 700,000 visitors over six days. In total 875 boats were exhibited at the event including 200 new designs with more than 700 brands for visitors to choose from.

Although Gulf Craft Inc began life building small pleasure craft, it is now a mainstream producer of multi-deck masterpieces where neither expense nor effort are spared in setting the definitive 'state of the art' standard for ocean-going luxury.

It is one of only a handful capable of producing vessels of 100-ft and over, with an annual production of about 700 vessels up to 130 ft overall length.
