DIB launches automated Salik Recharge Facility

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) announced today the launch of its Salik Recharge Facility via the bank's Integrated Voice Response (IVR) channel.

• DIB customers can now recharge their Salik account by calling toll-free 800 4008
• Bill payments and recharge offered in real time

Launched in cooperation with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), this new service allows DIB customers to make bill payments and recharge their Salik account simply by calling toll-free 800 4008 and following the voice instructions. This service, which offers real-time payment solutions, is available in both Arabic and English.

Mohammad Ameery, Senior Vice President, Retail and Business Banking Services, DIB, said: "We are delighted to be part of RTA's new project, which comes in line with the authority's plans to facilitate people and goods movement while improving safety levels in the emirate."

"As part of DIB's commitment to providing high-quality and convient customer service, we are extremely pleased to introduce this new service, which allows our clients to manage their Salik account by telephone. This service, launched in cooperation with the RTA, makes managing one's Salik account easy and efficient," he added.

Ameery noted: "Today our customers are able to pay credit card bills, utility bills, Etisalat online bill payments, 'Al Wasl' line recharge, charity payments, funds transfer and other services on DIB's electronic banking services including ATMs, Al Islami phone banking, and others."

"The new servies comes in line with the bank's vision to support RTA's efforts to develop the traffice system in Dubai especically with the continuous economic growth of the emirate and the UAE," he concluded.
