ADTA welcomes two new directors

Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA), the apex body that manages the tourism sector of the emirate, appointed Dayne Lim as the Product Development Director, and Julie Alison Bishop as its Marketing Director.
His key responsibilities include strategic planning and development of the leisure, business tourism and MICE sectors, as well as catalyzing growth of new leisure products and events for Abu Dhabi.
He also had overseas stints in the UK, Malaysia and India during his tenure. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BSc (Honours) from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
The ADTA marketing director Bishop brings to ADTA more than 15 years of experience in Australia's tourism and hospitality industry, both in the government and private sectors.
As ADTA's Marketing Director, she is mandated to develop and facilitate an innovative and creative marketing program that will ensure Abu Dhabi becomes a globally recognised, high-end tourism destination. the programmes will focus on implementing creative strategic management concepts and enhancing Abu Dhabi's unique tourism.
Prior to joining ADTA, Bishop worked at State Government of Victoria, Australia - Tourism Victoria , where she was responsible for regional research and marketing as well as advertising, media and marketing strategy. Earlier, she led the work team mandated to deploy the Melbourne identity worldwide, in addition to managing and promoting the tourism identity strategy for Victoria State.
Bishop holds a diploma in Tourism Marketing, degree in Visual Arts and post-graduate degree in Design.
