DM launches new drive to support Dubai Cares

Dubai Municipality launched a new drive at the DM headquarters as part of its support to the 'Dubai Cares' campaign.

Initiated by UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Cares aims to help the education of one million children around the world.

Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Acting Director General of Dubai Municipality inaugurated the drive at the reception area of DM Headquarters in the presence of Assistants to the Director General and senior officials from different sectors and departments of the Municipality.

Lootah gave a call to the employees of the Municipality to be magnanimous in donating to the noble cause of "Dubai Cares" adding that Sheikh Mohammed's initiative is a profoundly humanitarian step that goes well with his personality.

"This pioneering initiative will create a great impression among the world's strong humanitarian community. It has come at an appropriate time when it is needed. It is a good example to show that the people of the UAE care," he said.
