To be organised by Channels Exhibitions between October 23 and 25 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the exhibition has attracted record participation from Europe, mainly UK, Germany, Italy and France, and Lebanon.
An estimated 5,000 trade visitors are expected to attend the three-day exhibition, which is the only trade fair of its kind for gifts, medals, festive decoration and handicrafts.
In his comments, Mr Justin Boutros, Managing Director of Channels Exhibitions, said:
'We are happy to announce record pre-registration for the Gifts & Premium - Dubai 2007 and we are expecting over 5,000 trade visitors. The exhibition has participation from Europe, Lebanon and the Indian subcontinent, showcasing its growing international appeal. We are confident that the exhibition will open up new avenues for the Middle East region, which supports a dynamic regional market for gifts, premiums and stationery.'
Mr Boutros added: 'This year, we are welcoming a considerable number of first-timers and the strategic location of Dubai offers those looking out for new business opportunities a unique meeting point.'
Showcasing a diversity of products from high-quality corporate stationery to high-value trophies, pens, watches as well as novelty giftware and products for festive occasion, the exhibitors range from leading international to regional brands representing the UAE, United Kingdom, Greece, Lebanon, Italy, China, Germany, Singapore, Qatar, Turkey, India, Czech Republic, Korea, USA, Vietnam and Thailand.
One of the growing attractions for exhibitors at Gifts & Premium fairs is the opportunity for cross-marketing. Apart from the substantial volumes of business done with external, walk-in businesses and customers, many exhibitors get a unique opportunity to strike business deals with each other.
Close to 80 exhibitors from 12 countries took part in Gifts & Premium 2006 exhibition, which was attended by over 3,800 trade visitors from approximately 50 countries, including the UAE and GCC states, Indian subcontinent, CIS and Iran as well as several African and European countries.
