Parmigiani opens in Wafi

Wafi continues to bring in the most renowned brands to its new 250,000 square feet retail extension and has recently opened a number of luxurious jewellery boutiques.

The brand was established in Fleurier, Switzerland by Michel Parmigiani, master horologist, renowned restorer and a talented creator of watches, he has dedicated his knowledge, which has been enriched by past and present events to the benefit of the brand. He began his career in the field of restoring horological "objects d'art" in 1976. In less than a decade, Parmigiani Fleurier was able to fit out its manufacturing workshops to produce exceptionally high-quality goods. It is one of the rarest and most complete manufacturing workshops of top quality watches in Switzerland.

In 2006, the first Parmigiani Fleurier ladies' collection was presented. Around 4000 watches are produced each year. Last year, Michel Parmigiani celebrated the 30th anniversary of the brand.

There are three key words that guide the spirit of the creator of Parmigiani Fleurier brand; curiosity, authenticity, and independence.
