Emirates Palace strengthens executive team with new Director of Sales and Marketing

Emirates Palace has announced the appointment of Janet Abrahams as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Abrahams brings to her post almost 20 years of experience working with prestige luxury hotel brands across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia, including the Four Seasons, Intercontinental, Meridien and Millennium groups.

Abrahams's most recent position was Regional Director for Jordan and Palestine with IHG, where she was largely responsible for driving record revenue growth.

"Janet's impeccable track record speaks for itself. She will be a valuable addition to our team. With her expertise and experience, we are confident that we can achieve, even possibly break, our revenue targets in the region," said Noel Massoud, General Manager of Emirates Palace.

Abrahams' sterling career accomplishments include successfully opening properties for luxury hotel brands such as Four Seasons, Meridien and Millennium; as well as citations for excellence in sales and marketing, such as Sales Person of the Year and Sales Team Brand of the Year awards for the Middle East and Africa in 2006 while with IHG, and the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award for the UAE in 2005.
