Victoria State Tourism Minister Tim Holding MP, pictured right, paid a courtesy visit to Qatar Airways headquarters today, where he met Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker to discuss future plans by the airline to launch scheduled flights to Australia.
The Honourable Minister for Tourism spoke of Victoria State's aspirations to welcome Qatar Airways to its shores.
Qatar Airways has expressed plans to serve Australia as part of its global expansion strategy.
