Starting on October 23rd, with stops in UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Doha, The Wave, Muscat will seek to build alliances with key media members in these countries and will present The Wave, Muscat as the premier freehold property development in Oman.

Speaking on the advent of the tour, Wael Al Lawati, said:" The Wave, Muscat is very well positioned in the region to attract strong media and buyer interest. The road show is meant to augment and enhance this further. This is also driven by the upcoming exciting launches, details of which will be announced at the road show.

Locations chosen are been based on buyer profile and importance of these markets. Similar road shows are planned for other cities later in the year. We hope a discussion with the media during our visits will help us bring our message to people residing in UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Doha".

A number of key media and industry experts have been invited to the presentations, which will introduce the exclusive development soon to become one of the most prestigious communities in the region.

Well into construction stages, The Wave, Muscat is being developed through a joint venture comprising Oman's Waterfront Investments (representing the Government of the Sultanate of Oman), National Investment funds Company (representing the Omani Pension Funds), and the UAE-based Majid Al Futtaim Group.

The project is being designed keeping in mind the discerning international and regional home buyers, who are looking for an exciting authentic destination in a country with the potential of becoming one of the most significant international destinations.

The 2.5 million square meter leisure and residential beach-front development that was given the right to sell freehold property to expatriates and foreign investors through a Royal Decree is located just a few kilometers from Muscat's Seeb International Airport. The project encompass a Greg Norman 18 hole golf course, 300 berth Marina, 3 luxury hotels, villas, retail and restaurant outlets.

The first residential release in May 2006 evoked an unprecedented response generating sales touching $ 100 million. 221 units released in this first release covering townhouses and villas will start being handed over to occupants by early 2008. To date, 28 different nationalities have bought into the development. The GCC media tour will further strengthen ties with communities and interested buyers in the region.
