- PRESS RELEASE
Lulu Tourism, the developer of Reef Island, will be showcasing the state-of-the-art project at Property Arabia Exhibition from October 24 till October 27 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center.
"We had an overwhelming response at Cityscape and we are extremely enthused with our participation in Property Arabia," said Waleed Hayek, the project manager. "We received such a remarkable level of interest in Dubai due to the uniqueness of our project and we are confident our project will also attract a high level of interest in Bahrain."
Hayek explained that what makes Reef Island 'different and unique' is that it is 100 per cent residential as well as its strategic location minutes away from the heart of Manama, the Financial District, and the airport. "It's an exclusive luxurious paradise in the heart of the city," said Hayek.
Hayek expressed content with the successful introduction of the project in Property Arabia Exhibition last year and said that he's certain that the public's anticipation has grown since then. "There is a general excitement about the project in the GCC and particularly in Bahrain and the company is looking forward to showcasing the milestones achieved since last year's exhibition."
Reef Island, the $1.3bn project, covers an area of 579,000 square meters. The island is being designed in a unique master plan and will consist of 39 residential buildings, a residential icon tower, 49 beach villas, 65 villas, a five-star hotel, a marina and yacht club, a wellness centre, and a shopping mall.
Reef Island is a joint venture between the government of Bahrain and the Bahrain-based Mouawad Group Real Estate Development Company.
